Lecrae to Perform at the Michigan Theater on Feb. 17

Rap fans get ready to see Lecrae at the Michigan Theater, 603 E Liberty St. on Friday, Feb. 17 at 8 p.m. The performance is part of the Pulse Campus Tour led by musician Nick Hall.

This tour is a high energy concert going around to college campuses sharing gospel messages. Musician Hulvey, dance crew Exiles, and Lecrae and Hall are all banding together for an evening of entertainment and outreach. 

Lecrae is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record and film producer, record executive, actor, and entrepreneur. He regards himself as a kid raised in Hip Hop culture who found Jesus. For nearly two decades, Lecrae has released music that combines the word of God with Hip Hop culture. 

The rapper has come out with more than 15 projects, including “Church Clothes,” “Anomaly,” and “Rebel.” Lecrae has also clinched several Grammy Award nominations and won two Grammys, including Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for “Messengers (featuring For King & Country)” and Best Gospel album for “Gravity.” 

Outside of the Grammys, Lecrae has won several Gospel Music Association Dove Awards, a Billboard Music Award, and several BET Awards and Soul Train Music Awards.

His most recent work, “Church Clothes 4,” features artists like Andy Mineo, WHATUPRG, Jordan L’Oreal and more. 

Lecrae will feature his new work, as well as his well-known tracks for the Pulse Campus Tour. 

Lecrae and the Pulse Campus Tour on Friday, Feb. 17, 2023 at 8 p.m. will take place at the Michigan Theater, 603 E Liberty St, Ann Arbor.
