The Cancer Support Community has announced the first ever Flavors of Hope event. Come enjoy an evening of delicious food and wine to help ensure people affected by cancer get the support they need!

Honorary Chair, Ellie Serras, presents the first Annual Flavors of Hope, the Cancer Support Community’s (CSC) Gourmet Cooking and Wine Event to be held virtually on Saturday, February 13 at 6pm.

The event was originally planned to include strolling wine and food sampling in a gorgeous country setting. As with most things this year, the CSC had to make adjustments to ensure the safety of the community.

This year, Flavors of HOpe will feature a cooking demonstration by Mainstreet VEntures Executive Chef, Brent Courson. Participants will be on an easy-to-use video platform to create a feeling of being at an event together while enjoying the comforts and safety of home. Meal kids include supplies for a four-course gourmet meal and a signature cocktail mix. Additionally, a vegetarian option will be available for those who would prefer.

Meals will be paired with a 2017 Ketcham Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir, which is made front eh oldest block of Pinot Noir grapes on Ketcham Estate’s property. Ketcham Estate is owned and operated by Ann Arbor native, Allie Ketchum. Participants will have the opportunity to bid in a silent auction featuring a 3-night stay at Ketchum Estate with a private tour.

Single tickets are $150 per person and include a meal kit for one and a half bottles of 2017 Ketcham Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir. Tickets for two are $275 and include a meal kit for two and a bottle of 2017 Ketcham Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir. Virtual tables are available for $1,250 and include meal kits for up to 10 guests and 5 bottles. All tickets include participation in the event on Saturday, February 13.

All proceeds of the event stay local and go to support the free services provided by the Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor.
