Here’s what’s happening locally this month in Washtenaw County: openings and business updates in Ann Arbor, Saline, Chelsea, Dexter, Ypsilanti, Milan and more.

Openings

Misfit Society Coffee Club has opened downtown Ann Arbor at 615 E University Ave, Ann Arbor. This new coffee lounge offers a hang out space to anyone who wants to kick-back and caffeinate themselves with Misfit Society Coffee Club’s large range of coffee and tea drinks. Each syrup is made from scratch in small batches.

Sweetgreen has opened its second Ann Arbor location at 3070 Washtenaw Ave, Ann Arbor in Arbor Hills. This fast casual spot offers a range of specialty salads and bowls. They recently opened their first Ann Arbor location on State St. downtown and they have other locations in Michigan. 

AFC Oak Valley is a new urgent care facility that has opened at 3063 Oak Valley Dr, Ann Arbor. Walk-ins are welcomed for urgent care, lab testing and vaccinations. 

Montibeller Pavilion has opened at 4305 Ellsworth Rd, Ypsilanti in Montibeller Park. The grand opening was held during the Egg Hunt and Bunny Brunch events on April 1. 

African-Caribbean Food Market has opened at 2895 Carpenter Rd, Ann Arbor. This is the first flagship African-Caribbean Food Market for the Global African Business Association.

Burlington has opened a new location at  215 N. Maple Road, Ann Arbor. This store will offer savings on a wide range of products such as clothing, shoes and more. 

Della’s has opened at 313 S State St, Ann Arbor. This business is a Black and woman owned beauty supply suite. They are also a gift store with various different items for self-care, decor and lifestyle.
